Mission:

                                 DuTchess County Legislator, District 8

Experience and Service:

  • Reduce wasteful and excessive spending
  • Renegotiate the County's portion of the sales tax to return more revenues back to local municipalities
  • End pay-to-play in Dutchess County politics
  • Improve access to youth and senior programming

In my time in the Dutchess County Legislature, I fought for the best interests of my constituents.  I worked to approve a 23-hour crisis stabilization center for residents in distress.  As well, I led the fight against the Federal government’s proposal to add new anchorage sites along the Hudson River, authoring a bipartisan resolution in opposition of the plan.  I also worked with my fellow legislators to approve environmental and cost-saving legislation to switch the Dutchess County government over to renewable energy sources in the coming years.  With my fellow legislators, I passed ethics reform and term limits to make sure government is accountable to you.

As a life-long Hudson Valley resident, I am honored to represent Poughkeepsie in the Dutchess County Legislature.  I am an advocate for fairness, transparency, and accountability to our taxpayers.  In these turbulent times, I am here to listen, help, and work for our community’s best interest.
